Bio You know how most little boys are obsessed with aliens, time travels, espers, sliders, and generally things of sic-fi and fantasy? Well, Haruki Suzumiya never grew out of that. Haruki had a nice upbringing with a good school, loving parents, and generally had a good time. It was a perfectly fine, perfectly good average life through most o his elementary years. That was, until the day he realized just how normal it was. One day, his father took him to a baseball game, and he was overwhelmed by the number of people there... and even more overwhelmed to find that it was only a fraction of the population of Japan, let alone the world. In that moment, Haruki discovered that he was largely insignificant -- just a small dot on the globe. Well, the boy couldn't be content with that. In middle school, he swore to find someone who's leading an interesting life no matter the cost. He dated innumerable girls for periods between two weeks and five minutes (SRY TANIGUCHI) in hopes of finding an abnormal one, he made strange symbols in on the soccer field, he tried everything he could in hopes of finding aliens, time-travelers, espers, and anything else which might be of interest to him. Something strange, something exciting. Well, needless to say, he never found it in middle school. The ironic thing is, it turns out Haruki is God and in middle school his powers activated, making the world have a whole lot more supernatural things than it did before. He just never found them 'cus they're trying to hide from him. Sucks, don't it? Anyway, he then goes to high school, and on the first day, with his unending bombast, declares that he "Has no interest in ordinary humans, but if you're an alien, time travel, or esper, come forward and talk with me." Well, that lasted a while, him just brooding and biding time; joining a ton of clubs and quitting the next day, him changing the hair style of the hair he hadn't bothered to cut since middle school pretty much daily, so on. The only anomaly in his life turned out to be some flat-chested chick named Kyonko that sat in front of him. Well, okay, that isn't her name, but everyone calls her that. They chat for a long time, and Kyonko becomes the one most able to hold a conversation with him. Hell, with her prompting he randomly up and cut his hair shorter. Well, Kyonko mis-speaks one day, and sparks a mad idea in Haruki's head -- he should make a club. And that he does, with Kyonko as his main henchman. After much sexual harassing of her, and plenty of harassing of other members he recruits, he ends up with the SOS-Brigade, which is five members strong, including him. -Kyonko, his ultimate lacky/dress up doll -Mitsuru Asahina, a little shoutabait kid he cross-dresses all the time; perfect mascot. -Itsuko Koizumi, also fun to dress up, and his yes-man-- err -- woman -Yuuki Nagato, some freaky silent guy who just kinda chills there. ...Thing is, all of them (bar Kyonko) turn out to be just the things Haruki is searching for, he just doesn't realize it. In fact, in a great twist of fate -- Kyonko is the one that learns all this. |
